TO GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR THE VICTORY

Isaiah 12:1-6 – And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou was angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declares his doings among the people make mention that his name is exalted. Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: known all the earth. Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

This chapter is considered a hymn of praise for salvation. We must pray and anticipate in faith and hope for the return of Jesus and the establishment of His eternal reign in righteousness. When that day comes, we will sing a song of praise.

We need to express our gratitude to God at all times. Everything is not going the way we want them to go and the way we think they should go. We should praise and thank God when we are going through our trials, when things are wrong, when there is trouble in our homes, on our jobs and so much more. We should praise God when we are sick and thank him for healing us.

What should we do now? Express our gratitude to God, thanking him, praising him and telling other’s about Him. We need to cry out and shout for joy because God is in our midst. We need to call upon His name, declare, and make mention of his goodness.
